Troy Bishop

Troy Bishop, P.E., is a licensed Structural Engineer and a Florida-licensed general contractor, with extensive experience in the evaluation and design of wood, aluminum, steel, masonry, concrete, and light-gauge steel structures. He is the owner and president of Axiom Structures, a structural engineering firm that focuses on structural consulting for code compliance for hurricane events. Troy is skilled in the evaluation and rehabilitation of existing buildings, and the evaluation of damage to structures from natural disasters and man-made causes.

Greg Bryan

Greg Bryan launched Bryan & Bryan Inspections, which began as a sole proprietorship and grew into a multimillion-dollar inspection company.  Greg is the Lead Inspection Coach at Inspector Empire Builder.  With a focus on personal and leadership development, financial awareness, and replicable business models, IEB has helped business owners get their life and health back, expand their services, and enjoy greater profitability. This approach works for sole proprietorships and multi-inspector firms.

John England

John England started Aardvark Home Inspections in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1992, and the company grew to four full-time inspectors six years later. In 1998, the company began offering commercial property inspections and jurisdictional code inspections.  England Training LLC was also spun off as a separate company. By 2006, England Enterprises, Inc., had over 20 commercial inspectors. It was sold in 2012 to a Colorado company. John has been teaching government building inspectors and private home inspectors since 1997, and over 3,000 students enroll in his classes annually.

Bill Fabian

Monroe Infrared Vice President Bill Fabian has been providing infrared training, infrared cameras, and infrared inspection services to home inspectors and energy and maintenance professionals since 1986. He designs and teaches specialized infrared training courses to diverse audiences across the country. In 2013, Bill developed the Certified Residential Thermography (CRT) certification program specifically for home inspectors. The class is now recognized by almost every home inspection organization in the U.S.  He teaches Level I Certification classes through the Infrared Training Center and directly to Monroe Infrared’s customers. Students consistently rate Bill as an excellent teacher for combining his in-depth technical expertise with his ability to relay technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.

John Gillam

John Gillam is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and New Mexico, and has been a real estate educator for 14 years. He is also a private estate fiduciary, as well as a supervising broker for EXIT Realty Home & Ranch. John will be sharing his perspective on how home inspectors can most effectively market their services to real estate agents.

Donald Graham

Don is a Colorado native, who, at age 13, started working in his family’s business that contracted with Sears for kitchen installations and interior repairs. He went on to work in residential and commercial construction in Colorado Springs and Denver. In 1986, Don fell and suffered a concussion and also shattered both his elbows. He was told that he would most likely need to have his left arm amputated. After given six months to try physical therapy, Don was on the road to recovery and avoided the catastrophic surgery. He now shares his story to help others as a representative of SafePro Guard.

Lon Henderson

Certified Master Inspector® Lon Henderson is a native of Texas and graduate of Texas Tech University. Following graduation, he spent two years in Belize as a Peace Corps volunteer. Building on his background in construction, Lon became a home and commercial property inspector in Colorado, and has been active since 1998. He was an instructor for Kaplan University, and is a past chapter president of NAHI. Lon’s specialty is HVAC training for home inspectors. He is currently working with the Colorado state legislature to create a bill for the licensing of home inspectors.

Peter Hopkins

Peter Hopkins has operated a successful home inspection company since 1996 and has personally performed over 7,000 property inspections. The company expanded into infrared technology in 2005 with the opening of SoCal Infrared, which has found success diagnosing moisture conditions and energy problems identified during property inspections. Peter is the co-founder of United Infrared (www.UnitedInfrared.com), a national network of contract thermographers, which includes application-specific training and business coaching in a multitude of applications related to infrared technology. Peter is a Level III Certified Thermographer, ICC-Certified Building Inspector, a Certified HERS Energy Rater, a SewerScan Inspector, and he’s also trained in equine thermography and licensed with the California Horse Racing Board.

Ronald Huffman

Certified Master Inspector® Ron Huffman, P.E., M.B.A., founded Huffman Inspections, Inc., in Colorado in 1989. He has performed more than 10,000 property inspections on residential and commercial properties in Colorado and Wyoming. He founded ESEC-Exteriors & Stucco Evaluation Consultants, Inc., in 1999, specializing in EIFS and stucco inspections and moisture intrusion analysis. Ron has over 45 years of experience in residential and commercial design, construction and inspection, and is author of the Stucco Identification Field Guide.

Ray Kline

Ray is the lead instructor for InterNACHI®, based in Boulder, Colorado. Ray is a Certified Master Inspector® based in Loveland, Colorado. He has worked as an electrician since 1973, obtaining his Master Electrician’s license in 1990. He operated his own electrical contracting firm and worked for various municipalities throughout his previous career, supervising ten crews at one point. Ray opened All Phase Inspections in 2011 and has performed more than 1,000 residential and commercial inspections to date.

James Krumm

James D. Krumm is a Certified Master Inspector® and has been an InterNACHI® Colorado Chapter officer and volunteer since 2008. The owner-operator of Best Home Inspections, he has more than 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry. Jim holds a two-year degree from the Dunwoody College of Technology, as well as certifications from the AARST-NRPP in radon testing. He’s also a certified well inspector and water sampler. In addition to his more than 1,700 hours of training and Continuing Education, Jim is an electronics specialist.

Michael Lauby & Michael Buettner

Mike Lauby is the President of Sunland Property Inspections.  He has 40 years of construction experience, as well as 14 years performing home inspections and environmental inspections. Mike has been a Certified Level I Thermographer for over 10 years, certified through the Infrared Training Center. He is an agent for Environmental Disclosure Reports (EDR) and has been an FHA Compliance Inspector for over 10 years. As an Arizona-licensed home inspector, Mike is also a Certified Environmental Home Inspector, a Certified Mold Inspector, and a Council-Certified Residential Mold Inspector. Mike also holds a First-Class FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s License.

Mike Buettner is President of RespirCare Analytical and has extensive microbial training, as well as real estate and insurance experience; this combination gives him a unique insight into the relationship between indoor environmental issues, the real estate transaction, and litigation protection. Mike has authored and taught professional liability protection courses and is an approved real estate instructor in several states, including Arizona, Texas, Illinois, and New York. He has served as the contract trainer for national analytical laboratories EMLab P&K and EMSL. He’s trained more than 1,200 property inspectors to conduct mold and asthma-trigger inspections. Mike has been an American Council for Accredited Certifications (ACAC) Board-Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager and Board-Certified Indoor Environmentalist since 2003, and reviews the analytical laboratory data for several indoor environmental companies across the United States and Canada.

Michelle Shishilla

Michelle Shishilla is the co-owner and founder of one of the largest inspection companies in the state of Florida. As a senior trainer and platform specialist for the Inspection Support Network (ISN), Michelle has spoken nationally at inspector conferences and has organized, managed and coordinated some of the largest inspector conventions in the country. Michelle has a unique perspective from all angles of the inspection industry. An inspection company business owner, inspector, convention planner, and industry vendor, Michelle also acts as a consultant for inspectors who are looking to take their business to the next level.

Britt Treece

Certified Master Inspector® W. Britt Treece has written more than 100 property condition assessments, walked over 6.5 million square feet of commercial property, and documented over $31 million in immediate and capital reserve costs. He owns and operates WBTreece Consultants, a commercial property inspection firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as Five Senses Inspector Training. Britt is also a member of CCPIA, the Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association.

Michael & Kevin Wagstaff

Before starting Spectora, Mike Wagstaff spent 12 years building web and mobile applications for his company, Denver Digital Media. He has worked with businesses of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 100 companies. Mike is both an engineer and a designer who believes that functionality and design are inseparable in good software. He built Spectora to be full of powerful features, while maintaining ease of use and approachability. Mike brings cutting-edge development talent to Spectora and handles everything, including writing blog posts, building new features, and providing tech support.

Prior to founding Spectora, Kevin Wagstaff worked as an SEO and marketing specialist for HomeAdvisor.com, where he helped triple monthly traffic from 1.5 million visits to over 5 million visits in just three years.  Kevin is also a licensed Denver Realtor®. After talking with dozens of home inspectors during real estate transactions, he learned the pain points that inspectors have with software, marketing, and business growth. Kevin brings the latest in SEO knowledge to grow new and existing home inspection businesses. He also creates home inspector websites and markets them, and provides product support.

Javier Perez

Javier Perez has worked for the California Energy Commission for over 12 years.  As an Energy Commission Specialist with the Outreach and Education Unit, he develops resources and training materials related to the California Energy Code's residential lighting and HVAC requirements.

Waylon Chavez

A member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, best-selling author Waylon Chavez opened his real estate brokerage firm nearly 15 years ago and regularly speaks at national real estate conferences. He created a system for real estate professionals titled “Six Hours to Six Figures.”  His books include Maximize Your Profits: Trading Facebook for Facetime, a book for homeowners titled Six Ways to Profitably Sell Your Home, and a self-help book titled The Intention Grabber.  Waylon is a graduate of Jack Canfield’s popular “Train the Trainer” Program and is a Certified Success Principles Trainer.

Dominic Maricic

Dominic Maricic is the president of Home Inspector Pro Inspection Software and Website Hosting, founded in 2004. He also founded the popular Home Owners Network. Dominic works as the webmaster for several home inspector organizations and assists them with SEO, which he’s been doing professionally for the past 25 years.  Dominic has a degree in Computer Science, and has a background in teaching math and computer programming at the high school level.

William D. Brown

Bill is the CEO and school director of Brownson Technical School, which he co-founded with his father in 1984. Bill and his wife own North American Training Center, located in Redlands, which prepares students for the HVACR industry. Both schools are the only non-union training centers in California that provide hands-on training and evaluation for Mechanical Acceptance Testing Technicians.  Bill is also active in the Institute of the Heating and Air Conditioning Industry (IHACI), and HVAC Excellence.

Chris "CK" Krowiak & Ian Schroff

CK has created thousands of custom logos for home inspectors during his five-plus years with InterNACHI®.  He’s been a professional designer in the marketing field for over a decade. He also creates illustrations for InterNACHI’s Graphics Library and its many educational publications and textbooks.  Additionally, CK has represented InterNACHI® at national conventions and given marketing presentations, as well as provided one-on-one consultations for members about their logos and branding.

Ian specializes in creating custom marketing pieces for InterNACHI’s 25,000 members.  He graduated from Colorado State University in 2017 with a BFA in Graphic Design, and worked as a freelance graphic designer for six years before joining InterNACHI’s Member Marketing Team.  In the last year alone, Ian has created more than 750 individual custom marketing pieces for members.  He also designs print materials that promote InterNACHI’s various sister organizations and programs, such as CCPIA and CMI®.
